Version 11 adds more capabilities that allow users to detect and resolve process control problems quickly.ExperTune became a member of the Metso family in 2012. It will continue to market its exceptional monitoring and optimization tools under its own brand. ExperTune’s acquisition is in line with Metso’s strategy to deliver customer value solutions and grow the scope of the services business globally. The acquisition expands and strengthens Metso’s ability to provide business-enhancing services to customers globally. ExperTune’s products will be sold as stand-alone solutions, that can be used in any automation system environment and as part of Metso’s performance business solutions, targeted to optimize plant performance. “The combination of ExperTune’s products and Metso’s services portfolio offers our customers in mining and construction, pulp and paper, power generation and oil and gas industries, a unique service package to contribute to their business performance. “With ExperTune, we can provide more versatile and more cost effective solutions to our customers to meet their most pressing business challenges, such as lack of skilled labor, scarcity of raw materials, energy and clean water, and increasingly stricter environmental legislation.
